Cheap NAT VPS

by Digika

Looking for cheapish NAT VPS that can be purchased for half a year/year ~5/6$ 500-800Gb traffic, 152-196RAM, 5GB hdd, can be NAT, EU locations They die like flies (just 5 died this year) so I'm not interested in "le expensive but good solution" as it will die too (either on the seller's side or blocked by my government) Not interested in WebHorizon and their offshoots (NATVPS, etc) (terrible service, outright scam). Not interested in Khan and their offshoots (unusable uptime, constant blackouts)

Hi everyone, I'd like to introduce a "new" open-source project: Register-PanelLayer . Register-PanelLayer is a GDPR-compliant suite of self-service registration portals for various web hosting control panels, including DirectAdmin, cPanel, Plesk, HestiaCP, and more. The key feature is that the system operates entirely without its own database . Instead, it provisions accounts directly and securely through the native APIs of the supported control panels. Some of the portals are still under development, so we're currently looking for beta testers. We'd love for you to check it out! 🔗 Website & Live Demos: register.panellayer.com 🔗 GitHub: github.com/agxl Background: This project started as my final university assignment five years ago. Unfortunately, it received the lowest grade in the class, which meant I failed the course. Even so, I still believe the project has value, and it would be a wasted opportunity to leave it unused on my hard drive. That's why I've decided to release it as open source software. Disclaimer: AI was used to assist with parts of the translation and proofreading. Please keep in mind that both people and AI make mistakes. Legal Notice: Register-PanelLayer is an independent open-source project and is not affiliated with DirectAdmin, cPanel, Plesk, or any other hosting control panel vendor. It uses only publicly documented APIs. Users are responsible for operating the software in accordance with applicable laws, Terms of Service (ToS), and Acceptable Use Policies (AUP). The full legal notices and disclaimers are included in the project documentation. I'd really appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or bug reports! Greetings, Andy and Johanna ( @jjn )

So apparently they are at least 6 types of SSL certificates for websites: Extended Validation SSL Domain Validated SSL Organization Validated SSL Wildcard SSL Multi-Domain SSL Unified Communications SSL And none of these can work for code signing. Anyone aware of the cheapest code signing certificate you can get?

Was lurking around and came across @freelanceonline 's comment: Has anyone benchmarked GreenCloud’s Budget KVM Sale against Premium KVM Sale in the same location? Is Premium noticeably faster under sustained CPU, disk, and network workloads, or is the difference mainly newer hardware? That got me intrigued since I had wondered the same thing before. I always assumed the main difference was the Milan vs Rome CPUs, plus maybe a better FUP on the Premium VPS plans. I had posted a Premium VPS YABS on LET a while back, and if it wasn't for serververify.com I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have found it this quickly haha. Initially, I wanted to reply in that thread , but it got closed, so here I am. Hopefully someone has a YABS from a Budget VPS they can share so we can compare. Considering my country will start to mandate ID verification for social media and 18+ sites, I'm looking for the following: VPS to run Wireguard on with: 1Gbps preferred, 100mbps will also work 1TB traffic 2GB RAM preferred, 1GB will also work Server location outside the EU/EEA (countries close to EU like Balkans, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan preferred) I don't really care about the specs, the server will be purely used to for Wireguard (alternatively Amnezia if 2GB RAM is possible). I already looked at GCore Baku Server for 39€/year which looks pretty promising but I was wondering if anyone had something cheaper in mind

DartNode Price Increases

by AlteredParadox

Just got this from @DartNode - seems the cheap dedis are safe, but other black friday style offers look to be going up: Howdy All! We have some news we would rather share with you directly than have you find on an invoice. DartNode prices are going up. This is the first time we have raised prices in two years. We held out as long as we could, because keeping DartNode affordable has always been the whole point. But the cost of running the network has climbed steadily over those two years, on power, transit, bandwidth, hardware, and space, and we are at the point where we need to bring pricing back in line with what it actually costs to keep everything running well for you. Here is exactly what happens and when: New services ordered from today forward are billed at the new rates. Anything you already have stays at your current price until its first renewal on or after September 1, 2026. Warehouse deals are not changing at all. You keep your rate for as long as you keep the service. And if you would like to hold your current price a while longer, you can pre-pay 12 months on any existing service and lock in today's rate for the full term. That option is sitting in your dashboard through August 15, 2026. Your new rates are in there too, if you want to see what changes for you before you decide anything. We know this is not the email anyone wants to get. A lot of you have been with us for years, and we do not take that lightly. If you have a question about your account, or you just want to talk through your options, reply to this or open a ticket. A real person here will get back to you. Thank you for being with us. The DartNode Team

We recently deployed Imunify Security Plugin to test how their recent bot protection and WAF works, but found that load was raised for several accounts, and that it shows errors with PHP 8.4. Anyone else has experience testing differences? Liked Monarx approach that do not install anything at client sites, same as CPGuard, don't like the idea to have to install a mu-plugin at each client site to provide better security.

Hello guys, i live in iran and right now the most stable method for creating a vpn tunnel between an iran server and a foreign server is via asymmetric src header forging (spoofing), in short you forge your foreign server ip to a whitelisted ip (for example an iranian cdn ip) and you forge the iranian server ip to a whitelisted ip (for example an iranian gov site ip). i'm looking for providers that let you do this, and i'd appreciate it if they can offer dedicated servers with 10Gbps+ Network Links. Thank you in advance!
