We are sorry to let you know that our services in Finland will cease operations on the 1st of September 2026. This was not a decision we took lightly. Finland was a location we had hoped to expand. Over the past year, hardware acquisition costs have risen sharply, in some cases to almost eight times what they were, which made those plans unviable without raising our prices considerably. The location serves only a small share of our active services and had little room to grow, so it never received the attention we would have liked, but it did sustain itself. That changed when we were hit by two further large price increases. The location is no longer sustainable as it stands, and expansion is now impossible. For those reasons we have to retire it. We are retiring the location, not your service. Starting on the 21st of August we will begin migrating active services to our location in Frankfurt, Germany, and your service will continue under the same terms as today. We expect the full migration to take up to a week, but that is the window for the location as a whole. Your own service is only offline for as long as it takes to move that particular VM, not for the whole week. Given the number of servers involved and the volume of data, we cannot commit to an exact date and time for each service in advance. If you would like to agree on a specific migration window, please open a ticket. We can take scheduling requests up until the 21th of August. We handle the entire data migration for you. Your service will also come out of this better than it went in. It moves to much newer and more powerful hardware, and connectivity is upgraded from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps. This comes at no additional cost and your recurring price stays the same. The one thing that changes on your side is the IP address of your service. Please remember to update any DNS records, firewall rules or allow lists that reference the current IP once your migration is complete. If your service currently runs on IPv4 NAT, this is a bigger change for the better. You will be given a dedicated IP address, which means the full port range becomes available to you and you no longer share ports with anyone else. SSH will then run on the standard port 22, so please update any saved connections, scripts or clients that still point at your old NAT port. We do realise this may not suit everyone, and that some of you chose this service specifically for its location in Finland. If Frankfurt does not work for you, you are welcome to cancel your subscription instead. Please open a ticket before the 21st of August so we can take your service out of the migration plan. If your subscription runs past the cutover date, say so in the same ticket and we will arrange a prorated refund for the remaining time. If we have not heard from you by the 21st of August, we will take that as your acceptance and your service will be migrated automatically. No action is needed on your part in that case.

In urgent need of a Storage VPS
by theweaver786
I need a Storage VPS with atleast below specs - • 2 vpcu or better / atleast 2-4GB ram (Xeon, epyc, any decent CPU is alright) • 4TB HDD storage • 20TB or better outbound Monthly (1Gbps/10Gbps, any is ok) • Ready to pay for a full year , Max budget is 80-90$ per year (strict budget) Note: already checked @TNAHosting @greencoludvps , the bandwidth is not enough for me
We are looking for a reliable dedicated server provider in the USA. We currently need three servers , with the possibility of ordering more later if the service remains stable. We have already tried FiberState, but unfortunately, we experienced the same issue with abuse complaints. Whenever an abuse report was received, the entire server was suspended immediately, even when the complaint was related to only one website. We need a provider that sends an abuse notification first and gives us reasonable time, preferably up to 12 hours, to investigate and resolve the issue instead of immediately suspending the entire server. Please note that these servers will never be used for email marketing, bulk mailing, or direct outbound email delivery . We use MailChannels for email sending, so the server IPs will not be used for mailing. Required specifications per server: USA location 24 - 32 Cores 128 GB RAM 4TB SSD/NVMe 1 Gbps port Budget: $120–$150 per server, per month Quantity required now: 3 servers We normally receive only one or two abuse complaints per month per server, and we always investigate and resolve them promptly. We are looking for a provider with a reasonable abuse-handling policy, stable network, and reliable long-term service. Please share your offers or recommendations.
Thoughts on Nonic Cloud?
by gamingarchive
Was checking out ServerHunter and saw Nonic cloud. I'm looking for high bandwidth VPS's and it seems like a really good deal, almost too good to be true... Curious if people have had positive/negative experiences with it? From what I could find so far: https://oxide.host/ seems to be https://nonic.cloud/ with the same servers at a higher price...? Seems relatively small, can't find many reviews on it No throttling in AUP...
Hello, I am looking for cheapest VPS in Singpore that will mainly to be used for hosting Pangolin Tunnel. As AWS free trial will be end in a month. The specification is listed below: 1 vCPU 1 GB of Ram 20 GB Storage 1TB bandwidth (option to increase the bandwidth is nice to have as optional option) 1 Static IPv4 The main priority is network stability, and low latency that I could test. The budget around 2-3 USD or 3.5 to 4.5 AUD per month if AUD currency is available.

Summer has arrived
by yoursunny
According to the calendar on https://guards.re , summer has officially arrived on LowEndTalk! 🏖️ Grab your popcorn, because summer hosting season means it is time for the annual low-end- circus. Active Summer Host Features The bedroom special : a server running entirely on a dusty desktop tower under a teenager's bed, cooled by a single household desk fan. The master of disguise : a brand new provider that registered their domain exactly four days ago, where the frontpage confidently claims they have over 10 years of enterprise data center experience. If questioned, the patron provider would explain that they previously had a different brand serving only domestic customers. The infinite resource : a $1/year VPS that offers unlimited storage, unlimited bandwidth, and a 10Gbps port. It will be suspended for violating fair use when four users try to install WordPress at the same time. The magic backup : a premium tier offering fully automated, multi-region daily backups. The backups exist in the owner's dreams and will disappear as soon as they main server fails. Already Deadpooled SalmonCloud Ltd (2025-Jul) ConfigServer (2025-Aug) Upstream Network Ltd / ZHNET (2025-Nov) Atomic Networks (2025-Dec) Lewis / Velox Media (2026-Jan) Signs a Host Will Deadpool Before End of Summer You can spot an unstable host early by asking the right technical and operational questions. Watch out for these major red flags when looking at the dealz: They rent everything and own nothing : they will vanish when their hardware and IPv4 space bills come due. They charge a massive fee to buy a single extra IPv4 : they have a limited network and cannot scale their operations. They completely ban custom ISOs on KVM plans : they are over-allocating their nodes and hiding a broken control panel. They do not list a real data center name or address : your data is probably located in a basement guarded by two very scary dogs. They lack a clear policy on persistent CPU and port blasting : neighbors will crash the infrastructure by July. They refuse to publish YABS benchmark data : they are hiding weak hardware that will melt under summer heat. Good Luck This Summer Are you looking to buy a server this summer? Remember to use a credit card with excellent fraud protection, backup your data daily to an external drive, and never buy a lifetime plan unless you expect that lifetime to last about two weeks.

Heads-up for the Prepaid-Host customers here. I'm posting this myself rather than letting it get "discovered" — you'll see the emails anyway, so here's the full thing, numbers and reasoning included. What's changing We're adjusting the price of some of our older promo root server plans — mainly the RAM-heavy ones (26 GB and up), plus a few older 20–24 GB promos. Renewals only, nothing changes for a period you've already paid for, and nothing goes up by more than ~35 %. The smaller 16 GB promos we adjusted recently stay untouched. Plan (KVM, 1 IPv4 incl.) old new 26 GB / 6 vCores €8.99 / €9.99 €11.99 / €13.49 20–24 GB / 6 vCores €9.49 €12.49 36 GB / 8 vCores €14.99 €18.49 48 GB / 10–12 vCores €19.99 €23.49 Effective 1 August 2026, renewals only . You can still renew at your current price before 1 August — that locks the old rate for that prepaid period, and yes, you can prepay a year or two upfront if you'd rather. Renewals after that move to the new price. The why — and I'll pre-empt the obvious objection The fair pushback is "you already own the RAM, NVMe and IPs in those nodes, so why do spot prices matter?" For the parts already installed: they don't. It's the resupply that bites — and right now nearly everything we need is scarce or up sharply at once: Replacements are at today's prices. A 15 TB enterprise NVMe we sourced for ~€1.4–1.8k in 2025 is €6–7k now. Every failed drive is a 3–4x hit versus what those nodes were priced around. Utilisation keeps climbing while machines expire. We're running well below our last peak in machine count, yet RAM/storage commit keeps rising — so we need to ADD capacity, into a market where there's no cheap capacity to add. Availability, not just price. The DDR4 these nodes run is being wound down toward EOL to free fab capacity for AI memory, so our exact RAM type is getting scarce, not just pricey. High-capacity enterprise NVMe is short and up 3–4x. And IPv4 is exhausted — no free RIR blocks, secondary-market only. We still bundle the IPv4 free, but all three being scarce at once is the actual squeeze. No new-deal bridge. Normally we'd float fresh promos on cheaper hardware and let the old ones age out — but with nothing cheap or even readily available to build on right now, that valve is gone too. So it's replacement + utilisation + cash flow, not "the DIMMs in your VM appreciated." Nudging the oldest, most RAM-dense promos up is what frees the resources to keep serving everyone who stays — at the same specs. No new hidden fees. IPv4 stays bundled at no charge. And prepaid stays prepaid — no contract, no notice period, nothing auto-charging you that you can't stop. If the new price doesn't fit, just let it expire; if it's an idler, honestly that's the capacity we most want back right now. "Vote with your wallet" is a completely legit move here and it costs you nothing. Will you drop prices again when RAM/NAND normalises? Straight answer: we won't retroactively cut an existing plan. When hardware gets cheaper again we do what we've always done — post fresh deals, open to existing customers too, you just migrate your own data. Promising a rollback would be the dishonest answer, so I won't. That's the whole picture. Ask away — I'll answer straight. — Christopher, Prepaid-Host

Hello, I'm looking for someone that can transfer me an idle Netcup ARM (VPS ARM G11) with the size of VPS 1000 ARM G11 or VPS 2000 ARM G11. I would prefer the location to be in the USA but can accept in Europe too. This will go for a good cause in order to restore an Invidious instance I'm hosting for free for the public. Netcup ARM servers have good performance for this kind of workload. Thank you in advance. unixfox
Looking for 1TB/2TB VPS
by Mainfrezzer
Hello! I did scour to find some current offers but it seems like most of them are out of stock/gone. Im unfortunately in the position, where this has occured twice now, just this month. So im in need of a replacement thats a tat more reliable. I am just looking for VPS with HDD storage with around 1 or 2 TB, 1 core, 1gb ram is more than enough. All thats planned to be running on there is garage. I did consider Dedirocks offering although some of terms are a bit offputting (the cpu usage one in particular, given that i intend to use compression. Also the "Only use https protocol when necessary" is an odd thing) Also considered Deluxhosts offering, but im still looking to get 2 Servers in total (for geo distributed) so i can retire one of my current, still active, nodes. The price per year should absolutely be less than a HDD of that size, as i can just buy the hdd and shove it alongside a server at someones place.
Thankfully this is not a KVM escape so nodes won't have to reboot as fast, but the guests sure should. The bug, CVE-2026-64560, is a UAF in the POSIX timer subsystem, and allows rather simple privilege escalation. See detailed description in commit 920f893f735e92ba3a1cd9256899a186b161928d . Unfortunately, there's not even a fix in Debian yet (besides Sid), but see their security tracker for updates.
