I found a workaround! It may not work for everyone. I reset my microsoft password in myaccount and then devices> view details > manage recovery keys> and the page actually worked and got past the infinite loop. I hope this helps :) submitted by /u/OccasionEntire6898 [link] [comments]

2 weeks and total crickets. As a startup, its getting hard to justify using AWS when you cant get a response to basic tickets. Anyone have any ideas? Case no 178468976600279 submitted by /u/dbacks820 [link] [comments]

I bought a VDS from a new provider recently, came with 8 dedicated vCores and 8 GB DDR5 RAM did 2 GB6 tests results below. I previously bought an actual VDS before (from another provider) with the same CPU model but at 8 dedi cores and 16GB RAM GB6 scores were much higher.. So my question is the new provider VDS an actual VDS or it's just another KVM shared VPS? Given the 2 test results. Is the value within an acceptable range of being a VDS? Test1: https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/18904603 Single Core: 1582 Multi Core: 5483 Test2: https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/18906717 Single Core: 1720 Multi Core: 5815 An actual VDS that I bought the last time.. https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/18265886 Single Core: 3025 Multi Core: 14665

Sup guys, currently running a scraping project that extracts data from high anti-bot protected sites. Tried resi and ISP IPs, mobile rotating as well, but my script is still getting detected and failing to retrieve info. I don't need thousands of IPs, I need a few good quality mobile IPs with per req rotation. Currently looking at dedicated proxies from IPRoyal, Voidmob and Proxidize. Any other recommendations or hidden gems? Key requirement is that it has to be a genuine mobile carrier IP from a real device, preferably with switchable p0f as well. No KYC or crypto payment would be great as well. Budget is not a problem, I just want to solve this. Thanks

In a dilemma, need to know how to troubleshoot. I have access to the O365 tenant where the recipient email address is housed and the couple of test message sent that boucned are not showing up in Message Trace as if AOL never actually attempted to submit them to Exchange Online. If they did, again they dont' show in Message Trace. Below is the only info from the NDR, no actual diagnostic info or bounce code. The user reported issues with receiving multiple emails from AOL/Yahoo addresses. What do you make of this situation? This seems to be more an AOL issue, could they have "blacklisted" the recipient address in their system for outbound email? I've seen them do that with senders for inbound emails. From: [ [email protected] ](mailto: [email protected] ) To: "Sending_AOL_addr"@aol.com Aug 3, 2026, 12:00 AM Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address. <"office365emailaddress">: Unable to deliver message after multiple retries, giving up." submitted by /u/JamesHarenDPOTY [link] [comments]

I’ve been experimenting with turning Shodan into a conversational research assistant using OpenClaw. Instead of manually crafting filters and queries every time, I let the AI handle: Query building Result interpretation Trend analysis API quota monitoring Safe research workflows I wrapped Shodan into a Skill for OpenClaw here: 👉 https://github.com/liuweitao/shodan-skill After installing the skill and setting your API key, you can start interacting with Shodan in a completely different way. 1️⃣ What Can It Actually Do? Me: What can you do with this Shodan Skill? OpenClaw: With Shodan Pro access, I can act as a full internet exposure research assistant. Here are the main capabilities: 🌍 Asset Discovery Search exposed services worldwide Filter by country, product, organization Query specific CVEs Fingerprint via favicon hash Example: search --query "product:apache country:SG" 📊 Trend & Macro Analysis Compare global usage of technologies Count exposed ICS systems by country Analyze SSL certificate distribution Example: count --facets product 🔬 Deep Host Inspection Full host profile (ports, services, metadata) DNS intelligence Historical exposure data 📡 Monitoring & Scanning Real-time stream monitoring Asset alerts On-demand re-scan (API credit based) 🧠 Built-in Knowledge Base Filter lookup Shodan data field explanations 2️⃣ API Key Status Check (Practical Example) One thing I liked is that it can introspect the API limits automatically. Me: Check my API key status and tell me what features are unavailable. OpenClaw: API Status Report: Plan: EDU Status: Unlocked Credits: Resource Remaining Status Query Credits 199,799 / 200,000 Plenty Scan Credits 65,536 / 65,536 Full Monitored IPs 0 / 131,072 Available Restrictions: No Firehose full stream access No bulk raw data export This is surprisingly convenient — no need to manually check dashboard pages. 3️⃣ Large-Scale Exposure Research (Safety Discussion) I also tested how it would handle a hypothetical large-scale exposure study workflow. For example: Collecting asset lists Performing slow, rate-limited verification Logging progress Handling API interruptions Implementing checkpoint resume logic The assistant automatically suggested: Low concurrency Randomized delays Incremental saving Crash recovery logic Periodic reporting What I found interesting wasn’t the scanning itself — it was the workflow orchestration ability . It can: Detect partial API fetch failures Restart jobs safely Implement retry logic Kill background tasks cleanly Verify that no residual processes remain Example: Me: Stop everything and delete all related files. OpenClaw: ✔ Process terminated ✔ Scheduled tasks removed ✔ Data directory deleted ✔ No active background jobs remaining For people running automation-heavy research on small VPS instances (like many of us here), this type of orchestration layer is actually useful. 4️⃣ Why This Is Interesting for LET Users Many of us here: Run small VPS nodes Experiment with automation Do infrastructure research Monitor exposed services Build lightweight tooling What this setup gives you is: A natural-language interface to Shodan Automated research pipelines API credit awareness Controlled execution strategies Clean teardown capability It turns Shodan from a search engine into something closer to a programmable recon assistant. 5️⃣ Important Note This setup is intended for: Research Defensive exposure analysis Academic usage Monitoring your own infrastructure Not for active exploitation or abusive scanning. Always respect: Laws Hosting provider policies Responsible disclosure practices If anyone here is interested in testing or improving the skill, feedback is welcome: 👉 https://github.com/liuweitao/shodan-skill Would love to hear how others on LowEndTalk would use something like this.

Every team I talk to these days will tell you, unprompted, that they've moved past that mentality. More deliberate now, more careful, more "quality-first." Nobody wants to be associated with the phrase anymore, it's become a bit of a punchline. But when I look at what actually happens day to day, ship first, find out what broke from a user report or a support ticket, patch it after, it looks pretty similar to what it always looked like. The vocabulary changed. The retros got more polished. There's a Slack channel for "learnings" now instead of just quietly fixing it and moving on. The underlying loop, though, ship, discover, patch, doesn't look that different from five years ago on most teams I've seen. Maybe that's fine. Maybe the loop was never really the problem, and the actual improvement is somewhere else, better rollback speed, better observability so the discover step is faster, smaller blast radius when something does break. That would be real progress even if the core behavior looks the same from a distance. Or maybe I'm just seeing survivorship bias, the teams that talk publicly about being careful and deliberate are a specific, vocal subset, and they're not representative of what's actually happening at most places. Genuinely asking, not trying to make a point here: what's concretely different about how your team ships now versus a few years ago? Not how you'd describe the philosophy, what's actually different in practice, deploy frequency, review process, what happens in the fifteen minutes after something goes wrong. submitted by /u/ClickOk5811 [link] [comments]

I've been troubleshooting an infuriating issue that started after moving clients from Windows 11 23H2 to 24H2 (and confirmed it's still present in 25H2) and definitely banging my head on against the wall. Symptoms User has a mapped drive SMB share open in File Explore Browser download appears to hang for ~1-3 minutes (sits at 100%) Explorer.exe stops refreshing properly e.g., right-click create file - does not appear unless you refresh explorer, immediately visible in PWSH, will appear once the hang has cleared SMB copy operations appear frozen or stop updating. Explorer in general feels hung. What I've found: Closing the Explorer window connected to the SMB share sometimes restores normal behavior, restart explorer.exe resolves 100% of the time. WPR trace show Explorer stuck on directory notifications for roughly 61-62 seconds . explorer.exe**,** DirNotify, Result: 0xc0000120 (I/O request canceled) - Duration ~61 seconds At the same time, the SMB path shows: STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT**,** 0xc00000b5 - Duration roughly 61 seconds Work around I've found: I found an old Microsoft KB discussing (from 2006 ;) ): Setting NoRemoteChangeNotify = 1 appears to stop the issue. It brings a new issue that explorer.exe will not automatically refresh anymore for smb mapped drives. Shocking to me that a browser spawning an explorer.exe process (guess for file moves/renames) would result in a smb mapped drive IO timeout. And further shocking this would only happen after the move to 24H2/25H2. We also enforced the latest CIS benchmark policies for SMB, which includes a 60 timeout, I suspect that maybe that timeout is what is resulting in the IO timeout. But that doesn't feel like the true cause here, maybe just the configured time for SMB to say "okay I give up", unless maybe the old default timeout was a lot lower. Been in the trenches on this issue for ~ 2 minutes now. Working with Microsoft (aka MindTree), and that hasn't proved a lot of success - 90% of our calls has been to collect logs, then they wait 2 days to tell me the logs were cut off/etc. Output from Get-SMBClientConfiguration: ```PowerShell get-smbclientconfiguration AuditInsecureGuestLogon : True AuditServerDoesNotSupportEncryption : True AuditServerDoesNotSupportSigning : True BlockNTLM : False BlockNTLMServerExceptionList : CompressibilitySamplingSize : 524288000 CompressibleThreshold : 104857600 ConnectionCountPerRssNetworkInterface : 4 DirectoryCacheEntriesMax : 16 DirectoryCacheEntrySizeMax : 65536 DirectoryCacheLifetime : 10 DisableCompression : False DisabledSMBQUICServerExceptionList : DormantFileLimit : 1023 EnableBandwidthThrottling : True EnableByteRangeLockingOnReadOnlyFiles : True EnableCompressibilitySampling : False EnableInsecureGuestLogons : False EnableLargeMtu : True EnableLoadBalanceScaleOut : True EnableMailslots : False EnableMultiChannel : True EnableSecuritySignature : True EnableSMBQUIC : True EncryptionCiphers : AES_128_GCM, AES_128_CCM, AES_256_GCM, AES_256_CCM ExtendedSessionTimeout : 1000 FileInfoCacheEntriesMax : 64 FileInfoCacheLifetime : 10 FileNotFoundCacheEntriesMax : 128 FileNotFoundCacheLifetime : 5 ForceSMBEncryptionOverQuic : False InvalidAuthenticationCacheLifetime : 30 KeepConn : 600 MaxCmds : 50 MaximumConnectionCountPerServer : 32 OplocksDisabled : False RequestCompression : False RequireEncryption : True RequireSecuritySignature : True SessionTimeout : 60 SkipCertificateCheck : False Smb2DialectMax : None Smb2DialectMin : SMB311 UseOpportunisticLocking : True WindowSizeThreshold : 8 ``` submitted by /u/LaDev [link] [comments]

We have been with Azure but the mandatory content filtering makes it unusable for our use case (student writing - anything where they mention violence is rejected). Microsoft aren't accepting applications for managed relationships, so we're SOL there. Hoping to move over to Bedrock but before I go through the effort of setting it all up - does Bedrock enforce mandatory content filtering on models? Edit: Just for clarity - Azure has separate guardrails that sit over the top of the model. These are the problematic ones. The models themselves are fine for the use case. submitted by /u/Plane_Garbage [link] [comments]

So I am new to the DevOps field and my job is to deploy an app on premises. Now the problem is that the material I have read, such as: "Fundamentals of DevOps and Software Delivery" by Yevgeniy Brikman "Road to Kubernetes" by Justin Mitchel focuses mainly on cloud based deployment, which I do not want to use. To clarify, I already have the necessary servers, but for privacy reasons, I would prefer not to disclose too much about the setup. Does anyone have a beginner friendly book recommendation that explains how to deploy an application on premises? I also need to use Kubernetes and Docker, and I already have learning material for both, so the recommended books do not need to explain them in great depth. Thank you for you time! submitted by /u/District-Longjumping [link] [comments]

Current setup: • SharePoint sites host all our active project data. • I use a Business Premium license with OneDrive for Business Plan 2 as a dedicated “Archive User.” When a project wraps, I move its data to this account. It’s currently sitting at 5.8TB (max capacity 7.5TB). Leadership has view-only access so they can reference past projects without being able to modify anything. • A Synology NAS backs up both the SharePoint sites and the archive account (best M365 backup option out there for the cost, hands down). With the OneDrive for Business Plan 2 is being discontinued, and I need somewhere to hold this volume of archive data going forward. I have looked at Azure Files — but I’ve heard horror stories about remote/WFH users having trouble accessing files reliably. We are 100% remote with every random ISP involved. Any advice on where to move this archive data, or how others are restructuring their “archive user” setup now that Plan 2 is going away. submitted by /u/DickBalczak [link] [comments]

We are reviewing secure enterprise voice AI for a financial services contact center, and the post call data lifecycle is slowing down the security review. The team wants to know where raw audio is stored, how long transcripts remain available, what gets copied into backups and whether support stafff can access recordings during an incident. There are also questions around redaction. Card details and identityverification answers may appear in the same conversation as normal account information so retaining or deleting the entire call is not always a clean decision. We have received security certifications from vendors but those documents do not fully explain what happens to one customer call from the moment it ends until every copy is deleted. What retention and access requirements are financial institutions setting before approving a voice AI pilot? submitted by /u/Same_Log2406 [link] [comments]

On-prem hypervisors

What on-prem hypervisors are people using within Secure Areas being accredited? Need to move away from VMware for all the reasons. Currently looking at Hyper-V and Proxmox? Would need to STIG the box so Hyper-V is looking to be the frontrunner rather than Proxmox which does not have a checklist and the AO is not familiar with. submitted by /u/Santitty69 [link] [comments]
